Triple Cooked Chips
They are a faff! But well worth the effort. You don't become the Teen's favourite chip ever, without good reason.
Pork Fillet With Roasted Vegetables
This one-pot pork fillet with roasted vegetables recipe makes for a simple and cheap Sunday Roast. But being so easy and quick to prepare and cook it would also work for a delicious mid-week meal. The vibrant colours and amazing flavours run through the meal. The kids loved it and have already asked for it again. Why not give it a go and try it tonight ....
Chicken Hotpot (Dad's Delicious Leftover Surprise)
Chicken Hotpot - We had a little of our Sunday roast leftover from yesterday (yes, I know it was Monday, but that's how we roll around here)!
Super cheap and home-cooked fresh food. Happy days. Plus it was quick and easy as well!
Pigs in Blankets and Mash, the ultimate comfort food

In a vain attempt to get me more into the spirit, I decided to do a few Christmas related recipes, that are not a Christmas Dinner. Christmas food that isn't Christmas food! So to start this series off. I have updated the traditional bangers and mash, to festive bangers and mash with pigs in blankets. This took no time to prepare and only 20/25 minutes to cook.
Garlic cheese Chicken Roll
Going back to the 80's today with this one and using soft cheese with herbs for this delicious bacon and chicken roll. Well under a fiver with yellow sticker chicken breast.
Chicken wrapped in pancetta with a garlic and herb centre, on a bed of pureed potato with a chicken jus, served with honey glazed puree carrots. OR, as it's known in my house; chicken wrapped in bacon with mash potato, chicken gravy and mashed carrots.
Easy Potato Wedges
This recipe for easy potato wedges just uses potatoes (normally the cheapest supermarket ones), paprika for a little kick, salt and pepper.
