Spaghetti Recipe with prawns, feta, tomato and dill. Or as one of the kids called it warm spaghetti salad. First things first, start by cooking the spaghetti following the instructions on the pack.
Whilst spaghetti is cooking
I chopped the tomatoes into small pieces but discarded all the inside bits and seeds and added them to a bowl. Next, I added the prawns, some crumbled feta, the olive oil, chopped dill, chopped red chilli and the juice from both lemons to the same bowl. Actually, I added half to one bowl with the chilli and half to another bowl without chilli.
I drained the cooked spaghetti and placed a pile of it onto each plate. Then I added the prawn mixture to each plate of spaghetti (me and the middle boy with chilli and the other two without). Using two forks, I tossed the spaghetti and prawn mixture together ready to serve. So, 4 plates of food were all prepared and cooked within 10 minutes.
It was a 50/50 split when asked if they enjoyed it. The Eldest and princess didn’t like it (although the eldest cleared his plate), whilst I and the middle dude loved it. In response to what they didn’t like the princess looked at the floor and pretended she couldn’t hear me, whilst the eldest said ‘the green bits’, to which my daughter quickly concurred.
