Although fairly cheap to make, these do cost more than the frozen (processed) fish fingers you can buy from most places. However, With only, fish, flour, egg and bread they are a lot healthier and you know exactly what is in them. So in my opinion worth the little extra.

Ingredients
2Basa Fillets, £1.80 yellow sticker (£2.50 normal price)
3tbspPlain Flour
1Egg
3Slices of bread, blitzed into breadcrumbs
Instructions
Firstly beat the egg and pour into a bowl and then add the flour and breadcrumbs to two further bowls.
Slice the fish into finger shape and size bits
Dip the fish into the flour, followed by the egg, followed by the breadcrumbs.
Add a little oil to a frying pan and fry for a couple of minutes on each side.
If you wanted to oven cook, pour a little oil into the breadcrumbs while you are blitzing.
A super easy and healthier alternative to frozen fishfingers. Great as a snack, part of a meal or as we had them, as a sandwich filler.
