Homemade fish fingers
Although fairly cheap to make, these do cost more than the frozen (processed) fish fingers you can buy from most places. However, With only, fish, flour, egg and bread they are a lot healthier and you know exactly what is in them. So in my opinion worth the little extra.

Fascinating! So you make them with Basa fillets? I am very tempted to make this with my two as they do love fish fingers and when we make food together, they’re more likely to eat it.
I used Basa fillets simply because they were on a yellow sticker at the supermarket. We have used cod and even salmon to make fish fingers also. For a slightly different approach you could try fish fingers in a batter too. My lot call them ‘fancy fish fingers’ and they make amazing sandwiches…… It is great getting the kids involved with the cooking and it does encourage them to eat more as well. Let me know how you get on.
