Being the night after the big day. I had a lot of tired, grumpy and kids. We needed something filling and quick. This meal didn't fail and at under £4.00 all in was great value for money too.

Ingredients
Penne Pasta
1Jar of red pesto
200gFresh Spinach
1Handful cherry tomatoes, halved
200gChorizo, chopped into small chunks
2Cloves of garlic
Instructions
Cook the pasta as per instructions on pack
While the pasta was cooking, I heated a little oil in a pan and added the garlic and cooked for about a minute before adding the tomatoes and cooking for another couple of minutes. I then chucked the chorizo in and cooked fora further 2-3 minutes. Finally I added the spinach and cooked for a couple of minutes until it had wilted.
Using a paddle with holes, I spooned the cooked pasta into the pan, making sure a few tablespoons of the pasta water was transferred too.
I mixed the pasta and poured in the red pesto. Warming it thorough and mixing before serving.
Ten minutes, less than £4.00, four well feed and happier children.
