Sticky Pork with Asian Slaw

We eat a lot of Asian food and this Sticky Pork with an Asian Slaw didn’t disappoint.

It was really quick to prepare and cook.  Although I needed to pay full price for the pork steaks because there was nothing in the yellow sticker section. It still came in under a fiver for all of us.

This is another recipe perfect for a busy midweek meal, quick to cook and tasty enough for the kids to be asking for more.

Another perfect midweek masterpiece type recipe. This Greek feta traybake recipe is quick, easy and delicious. The cost came in at well under £5.00 to serve all four of us and I actually had most of the ingredients in the house already. As part of my easy midweek meal recipes, I would like to introduce to you this simple, delicious and super quick and easy pasta recipe. Using just a few ingredients you can get this delicious dinner to the table in less than 15 minutes and it only costs a few pounds to feed the entire family. Family life seems to take over rather quickly. We never seem to have enough time. I'm either running about after the kids or helping them out with homework. You all know that I try to avoid processed food. I would rather cook from scratch and that way I know what we are eating. Plus, it is a lot cheaper. A midweek meal needs to not only be delicious and affordable. It needs to be quick and easy to prepare and cook. Most parents, myself included, don't have time to be in the kitchen for hours on end every night. Check out my latest affordable and homecooked recipe here.

Most of the ingredients can be found in your kitchen cupboards already, just remember to pick up the bits you do need when you next go shopping. *MENTAL NOTE* If your kids ask what Puttanesca means in Italian, don't, I mean, DON'T Google it in front of them.

I am very excited to announce that to kick this off, I have a series of vegan picnic ideas from Louise Palmer-Masterton , who is the founder of multiple award-winning restaurants Stem & Glory. The first in this series is a delicious Vegan BLT. So if you want to cook something that is part of an award-winning restaurants menu, now is your chance! The ‘VLT’ (Vegan BLT) Makes 2-4 rounds of sandwiches depending on the bread size This has been on our menu at Stem & Glory Cambridge for years and it’s an absolute winner. The trick is making the tempeh bacon super thin and super crispy and having just the right amount of mayo to make it sing!
