We eat a lot of Asian food and this Sticky Pork with an Asian Slaw didn't disappoint. It was really quick to prepare and cook and even though I needed to pay full price for the pork steaks because there was nothing in the yellow sticker section, it still came in at under a fiver for all of us.
Pour the half the hoisin sauce into a bowl and add the pork and turn to coat in sauce.
Cook rice as per instructions on the packet
In a large bowl mix the vinegar and soy sauce before adding all the ingredients for the slaw. Mix together and leave to the side.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and then add the pork. Cook for a couple of minutes on each side, before taking out and covering with foil to rest.
Add the remaining hoisin and the soy sauce to the pan and let it bubble away for a couple of minutes
To serve, divide the rice on to four plates and plates and place the pork on top. Spoon the extra sauce over the top. Add some of the slaw to the side and then sprinkle the spring onions all over.
