Peppermint Creams the perfect gift for teachers

Instead of something shop-bought, why not make some peppermint creams as a gift for your favourite teachers? Or perhaps as a present for friends and family?

They are simple to make and taste divine. Plus, they only take a few minutes to make. We purchased some little boxes to package them up before giving them to the little lady’s teachers. We have also made them for Nannie and the kid’s mum.

With Christmas just around the corner, we decided to make some gifts for the little lady's teachers this year.
Homemade gifts are always nice to receive and these Peppermint Creams are not only delicious, but they are also simple to make. Who wouldn't want to receive such a thoughtful homemade gift?     • 1 Egg White
    • 0.5 Lemon (1/2 a lemon)
    • 400 g Icing Sugar
    • 0.5 tsp Peppermint Extract

      • Lightly beat the egg white in a bowl until it starts to foam, before adding a squeeze of lemon juice.

      • Sieve the icing sugar into the bowl and give a good mix with a wooden spoon. As soon as it gets too difficult to mix with the spoon, start using your hands.

      • Gentle dust the work surface before, transferring the mixture and roll it out until it is about 2cm thick

      • We used a small cookie cutter (2-3cm) to cut the individual peppermint creams. before placing them on a dusted chopping board to dry out

      • We then wrapped them into little parcels and put them into small presentation gift boxes.
