Instructions
Easy no-knead bread recipe
- Put the yeast in a jug with 500ml warm water and stir.1 Satchet Yeast, 500 g Strong Flour, 2 tsp Sea Salt, 2 tbsp Olivie Oil
- Chuck the flour into a bowl and pour the water and yeast into it, together with the salt and mix. Once mixed cover with cling film and leave to rise for a minimum of eight hours but preferable overnight.
- Once risen, brush another large bowl with olive oil and dust with flour. Transfer the dough from the original bowl to a new one and dust the top with a little flour. Then you need to cover again with cling film and leave for another hour.2 tbsp Olivie Oil
- Whilst it is proving, preheat your oven to 180 and put your loaf tin in the oven to get it warm.
- When the tin is really hot take it out of the oven and pour the dough into it (the dough should sizzle as you pour in). Dust the top with flour. Chuck it in the oven for 45 minutes to an hour and turn it out onto a wire rack to cool for 10 minutes before cutting. Remember it should sound hollow when you tap the bottom when cooked. If it doesn’t chuck it back in the oven for a short time.
