BBQ Ribs – Slow Cooker
BBQ Ribs
Another day and another slow cooker meal! I had never cooked BBQ ribs in a slow cooker before and WOW WOW WOW, they melted in the mouth and because it was so simple to make, we got to spend all day having fun, without me having to worry about cooking.
With the BBQ season fast approaching, these would work amazingly well on the BBQ for the last bit of cooking.

BBQ Ribs - Slow Cooker
How many stars do you give this recipe
Ingredients
- 1.5 kg Pork Ribs, £4.20 (yellow sticker)
- 350 g BBQ sauce
- 2 vegetable stock cubes (pork stock cubes work well if you have them)
- 1 tsp Coriander seed
- 1 tsp Mustard seed
Instructions
- I chucked 4 tbsp of the BBQ sauce along with all the other ingredients into the slow cooker and added enough water to cover the ribs (1.5l in my case) and cooked for 8-9 hours on low.
- I heated the oven to 180 and I carefully removed the ribs from the slow cooker using some tongs and a slotted spoon. I placed them in a foil-lined roasting tray and basted them with the remaining BBQ sauce before chucking them in the oven for about 20-30 minutes. Just enough to crisp up the outside. With the BBQ season fast approaching, these would work amazingly well on the BBQ for the last bit of cooking.
