Fresh and home cooked meal from a brand new recipe | Easy to cook from a normal family kitchen a two home | Less than £5.00 (or thereabouts) for a family of four | Not to interrupt the normal family after school activities (swimming, brownies, football, school play rehearsals, etc etc)
We are just a normal(ish) family of four, me and the three kids. Number one boy is 12, number two boy is 10 and the little lady is 7. We found ourself in an eating rut. Same boring meals week in, week out. So over a very uninspiring spag bol the challange was set. We would have at least one meal a week from a recipe that I had never cooked before and because I am a single parent on a budget the cost of the meal was to be kept to a minimum, with the aim to keep it below £5.00 and this is how my new obsession started folks
Children worry about scary situations. What if I get lost? What if there is a fire? What if...?
‘How To Keep Safe…’ is a book for 4-9-year olds and their parents to share. Written by teacher, blogger, parent advisor and mum Jo FitzGerald, it’s a gentle, illustrated, rhyming story of a boy, his dog and his family. Together, they talk about what to do in case of getting lost, being in a home fire, or getting caught up in a dangerous event.
